July's free LucasArts game is The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, and it's available to claim now. For the next three months, one LucasArts game will be added to the Prime Gaming lineup. After more than a decade since the last release in the series, no one was expecting it to be a thing. To say that Return to Monkey Island comes as a surprise would be an understatement. The same can be said about when it will officially come out as the game hinted at nothing more than a planned 2022 release window. While the announcement of Return to Monkey Island will please a lot of fans, there really isn't much information to go on apart from a minute-long teaser trailer. Apart from its updated graphics and art style, it will still (presumably) feature the classic point-and-click adventure with a wide cast of characters to meet and interact with, as well as various quests and mysteries to take on.
